What exactly happens if an emoli battery pack (Milwaukee) sits in a state of discharge for like 8hrs at like 3-3.4v? Bad things? I really don't want to lug my chargers to work every day and can't afford any more for now, but I can get regen on the commute down in the afternoon to get home (probably like 2A for 20 minutes). Thanks!

No harm done at all.
Only SLA suffers from sitting around partially charged.
( now if it was sitting at 1v per cell.. your lithium cells would not be happy.. but at this level you got worse problems than having them sit around !! )
