Hi Guys,

I have a Dillenger 1000w 10Ah kit (http://dillenger.com.au/shop/conversion-kits/electric-bike-kit-1000w-li-ion-10ah-48v/)

Someone in my other post suggested that most Chinese controllers can have regen if it is enabled.

Can someone point me in the direction of what I need to modify to get regen to work (if possible)

Here are some photos of the controller:

Thanks guys!

Also, here is a photo of the back of the board if its any use to anyone:

It also has KTW-S500W-LCD on the circuit board.

I'm also interested in this since I have the same kit. If nothing else it might lighten the load on my brakes.

I have no idea which pad on this controller is for regen braking. It's the X pad to ground on my controller, so that's what I'd start with if you want to start experimenting. And that's about all you can do without more info on the controller. Good luck. I bought a spare before screwing around with mine in case I blew it up. I may just be easier to buy another controller with regen enabled already. You can buy a new 48V 500W controller with regen for $25 shipped free.

Ebiking's pretty new to me, where's the best place to buy these things? Ebay? AliExpress? The classifieds on this forum?

Thanks

ebay, aliexpress, dhgate, and others will find hundreds of 48V brushless controllers. Take your pick.

Ok,

I managed to source a regen enabled controller with the exact same circuit board, but they couldn't do it with the wiring that I have.

I the regen controller has 2 extra wires that can be connected and activate the regen function.

I copied this onto my controller, but it doesn't work :(

Is there any chance that there is a jumper that needs to be moved? or that it could have a different programming?

The board is exactly the same (KTW-S500W-LCD)
