Hello,
Does anyone here know anything about these 2 bike motors?
Zap-hill climber DX with dual motors or the Eros friction drive motor?
Do they have power enough to get up 6 to 7 degree hills? I am trying to find a good bike & motor for my girlfriend.
I am okay with my old clunker- it's an old EVGlobal but runs okay now & it keeps me off the bus.
She already has a base bike without a motor, but can't ride it without the motor assist.
We both have Parkinson's, so we have to get her something that will get a small woman who can't pedal hard, up a few hills. I don't know much about either motor, so I thought I would ask my ES friends here about them!
They are going pretty cheap : $125 for the Eros with bike & $150 for the Zap with a bike. We don't have much cash, so I'm a looking for an inexpensive way to get her riding with me.
Both bikes are in good shape but need batteries, so they will end up costing her about the same. Both motors run well,
And I can fix the bike up myself.
Thanks for any info you can give us.
