Hi everyone, I am building a longboard and I have already bought the following parts.
Motor - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18128__Turnigy_Aerodrive_SK3_6364_245kv_Brushless_Outrunner_Motor.html
ESC - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__77144__HobbyKing_174_8482_X_Car_Beast_Series_ESC_1_8_Scale_120A.html
Battery - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__64795__Multistar_High_Capacity_6S_10000mAh_Multi_Rotor_Lipo_Pack_UK_Warehouse_.html
I haven't seen anyone else use the x-car escs however I thought that they were a clone of the fvt esc which people seem to like a lot. I am worried about the number of poles in the sk3 motor, i read else somewhere that the x-car esc(that I bought) was not designed to be used with a multi pole motor. I do not have any experience with motors or escs. I am hoping someone will be about to clear up my confusion on the topic. Thanks in advance
