Intelle... Crap
I have a friend who had patteted some ideas. She made money on a couple, lost money on a couple lawsuits that she won, but spent more on legal feas than she won, and gave up on a few were the company was headcortered in china, so not subject to American law. She discovered the only way to make money from a patent was by selling the pattent before it ever hit the market.
As for flywheels, the energy isn't stored in the magnets, its stored in the rotating mass. its a simple Mass X Velocity equation. you can have a huge mass in a small area, and spin it at super high velocity, so the energy density is realy only limited to the bearings and the ability to overcome aerodynamic losses. The Magnets are only there as a means to convert the energy from kenetic to electrical. the streingth of the magnet only determinds the speed at wich you can extract the energy.
