FarDriver Setup Throttle Problem

Hello everyone,

I have just finished my first build with a FarDriver.

Everything is working as it should, but the throttle is giving me a headache.

When I release the throttle, the speed slows down and stays at "4" for about 15 seconds, but the motor keeps spinning. It then slows down slowly, and after another 15 seconds, the motor comes to a complete stop.

Motor is a QS165 Encoder V2
Controller is a FarDriver ND72360B

I have changed the ThrottleVolLow settings, but this does not fix the issue.

Attached are screenshots of all the settings and a video of the motor in the app.

Here are my settings for comparison. Mine is a 72300, running a QS205, but some of the throttle settings may be useful for you.

Had a very similar issue. I installed a 80A fardriver into a cart and all was fine but it was a bit weak so I got the version with 200A line. After the successful self learn it would not stop spinning every time I applied throttle unless you hit the brake and slowed it down by force, and even then it would occasionally spin up again after a while.

I didn't mess around to see which setting caused this I simply reset the strings in the bottom left corner and all was fixed after that 😅

Hello, thanks for you're input.
Do you mean reseting the whole Controller with the reset button on the bottom left of my Screenshots?

Yes restore, and I think I tried different restore settings but none made a difference. I then chose factory settings and did the auto learn procedure again and it behaved normally afterwards.

I still have the same problem, tried all the feedback.
Even switched to another throttle. But still the same problem.

Well, I managed to fix it to some extent.

I put on the rear wheel with the chain connected, installed a brake switch and tried riding it. The software issue seems to still be there (in the overview it still gives a really low throttle signal when no throttle is applied), but it's completely unnoticeable when riding the bike.

Check to see if you have "follow" enabled i had the same issue but it's not in the typical throttle area i wanna say it might be the pid settings but not positive bout that
