[Disclosure: cross-posted on reddit/r/fardriver]
I have a Fardriver ND450 driver with an E&C The "One" motor, 72V battery. I've set it up via autolearn and it completed with no error.
But there are two problems:
1. When I give it medium throttle or above with the wheel free to rotate, it starts up but keeps spinning even after I release the throttle. If I apply the brake or medium resistance (e.g. with my shoe), it will slow back down and stop.
2. Under load (that is, when I'm riding it) and I accelerate, the motor "sounds like a two stroke". This can't be right.
What am I missing? I tried adjusting the throttle minimum voltage up. That had the effect of making so I had to twist the throttle farther to start accelerating, but the wheel kept spinning after I released the throttle.
Any hints or experiments would be much appreciated!
