My next round of battery purchase will be from ru.nkon.nl for some 25R's in a 15Ah pack, and am wondering if the Fast Tech holders are any good?
I bought some holders for 26650 a123's on July 26 - Its taking far to long to get here, so I assume its by ship and thats why its "FREE".
I figure I will buy the 18650 holders now from F.T. and maybe they will get here by next year when I am ready to buy my batteries.
Where can I buy 18650 holders in the USA or Canada?

Also I read the Tesla battery thread, about plastic insulators for the end cap, what are the best for 18650?

Thanks

Looks like dealextremes free shipping takes
Typically ships 7-10 business days
Do their 18650 holders fit well?
Hard to say where they are based or even where their warehouse is. From the looks of their holiday schedule, its most likey Asia, so HK.

Its good to see its an actual company, I always thought it was like ebay, alibaba and aliexpress.

dx.com is actually worse than fast tech, if you can believe it..

There called Slowtech,i waited for a few electronics and it took 2 mnths 18 days.but damn was cheap.

What about this for a serious 26650/18650 holder idea.

I read somewhere on E.S. about a E.S. member using bicycle tire tubes around the cell, then I saw another E.S. member using hot glue on cells to keep them together, it was a video. Then if a cell goes bad, you cut the tire tube and the cell is free once the tabs are off.

What about bicycle tire and high heat epoxy?

Fast Tech is a joke, its been ONE month now!
Factor in a month and a half with these jokers!
For me when I buy stuff I can choose from like 15 different shipping options and speed delivery by a factor of 5 by spending a $1.66 more on shipoing which is far less then the cup of coffee and doughnut I am eating in this coffee shop responding to your slow fasttech shipping post.

If your too stupid to spend that tiny bit more of shipping upgrade then its your own fault.
I now demand that you be banned and have your IP permanently fire-walled for annoying points of view.

Oh by the way the holders could be better but I have had worse believe it or not but they are still great value for the actual price.
The holders are really tight for Samsung 18650 cells, I got these from banggood to space them out a bit more..

Thanks TheBeastie  yeah I dont know what I selected or if I had a choice.
But I have recieved them today Sept 21, 2015 and looking at my PayPal account, I purchased them on July 26.
So, yeah about 2 months. The holders fit perfectly for my a123 26650's and the holders are like building blocks or lego with some nice space between the cells for air flow and cooling.

Here is what I bought listed below, and I didnt buy enough of the 26650 holders to hold 89 batteries, I only have enough for 50.
But all is not lost, I still need to buy some 18650 battery holders.
I will see now, if I can upgrade shipping. It looks like I did with my previous order, whatever AMR means.

DIY 26650 Battery Fixed Holder (10-Pack) (Qty 2)
$6.82 USD
Item #1883112
26650 Battery Protective Case (2-Piece Pack) - This fits my a123 26650, I remember reading people saying the 18650 dont fit.
$0.76 USD
Item #1333513
Paper Insulation Gasket for Flat 26650 Battery (10-Pack)
$0.90 USD
Item #2186902
DIY 26650 Battery Fixed Holder (10-Pack) (Qty 2)
$5.56 USD
Item #1893101
Shipping Upgrade (AMR) <-------------------Here is my upgraded Shipping for a $15 order.
$0.60 USD

Does anybody know why someone would need these
https://www.fasttech.com/category/1425/battery-parts-accessories/MTc3PVRvcF5Db3ZlcnM/
and how do you install them, just solder or tab weld them on? Isnt stainless steel less conductive, why would they use stainless steel. Just cheap I guess.

This is my current shipping option, which from what I remember was exactly the same as before.
I chose Singapore Post last time (by the looks of my package.)

Which would be quicker delivery Sweden Post or Malaysia Post?
Yeah and I remember, the estimated delivery date stated about 20 days for my shipping, it still took 3 times longer.

Im very hesitant now to order again from Fast Tech. I dont mind paying the extra money for quicker/faster delivery.

My other option is SuPower, they sell 26650 and 18650 holders.
Anyone know how fast SuPower delivers to North America?

Yeah you don't nearly have as many shipping options there as I get. Are you signed into fasttech.com? I have a full registered account there but you can buy just annoymously via paypal but maybe you don't get as many shipping options that way because it doesn't know where you are?

I might have to have a little complaint about fasttech shipping my self actually.
I bought some holders and choose my $1.50 upgrade for 6-14 day shipping but I only received it
Marked as shipped on September 10 and came today 6th. So total of 26 days.
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=days+between+september+10+and+october+6

So I guess I can argue I am the dumbarse for giving more money for shipping that was barely faster. I was actually a bit worried about it since the tracking number said the package was going to Afghanistan for some reason, maybe they stuffed up.
