Fiido Q2 48v 2000w upgrade. Do i need to upgrade controller?

Hey guys i'm new to this thing that's modding! I bought my fiido q2 which i adore but i want to upgrade the back wheel so i have 48v battery and i bought a 48v 2000w motor. What do i need to be concern? it will be plug and play? or i need to be concern with anything? The motor atm is a 800w and theres a controller to it and i have another motor 400w in front with another controller as i understand when i oponed it up! Do i need to be concern if the 800w controller doesnt handle the 2000w motor?

Sorry for this dumb questions probably but im trying to enter this world and i cant find too many information for my case.

IMO, you should have procured a new controller to complement the new motor and increased your health insurance.

Ok do you suggest any controller? should i go for a 60v or stay in 48v? Thank you so much for your response.

Whether you should change battery voltage depends on the RPM per volt of your new motor. If it has higher RPM per volt (also called kV), then probably you should stick with the same battery voltage.

There's no reason to believe your battery will tolerate being discharged 2.5X as hard as with your old controller, but consult the specifications and you'll find out.

If you don't give the new motor more power from the controller, you won't get better performance. That means a more powerful controller is necessary, and probably a more powerful battery to feed it.

It's foolish bordering on self-harm to put dramatically increased power into such an incompetent vehicle, though.

thank you so much for the reply. do you suggest any controller brand? i might get off the 400 w front wheel and stay with only 2000w rear motor. Why you think it's such an incompetent vehicle? 60km/h doesnt seem much for the handling of this one it seems! Best regards, Vitor Granja

That's something. I agree with everyone else. The new motor will run just like the old one, A larger current controller will let it run harder, but you may not have enough battery power.

When you say i dont have the battery power it will be because of the discharge capacity?
