I'm sick with the same thing for the second time this year. My wife is coughing. My kid is coughing. Half of my neighborhood is under quarantine either by choice or by order. The world has largely shut down. Health care professionals are being silenced, not because they're screaming hoax and downplaying this but because they're saying too much and revealing what is actually going on inside the hospitals.

...yet you and your links know more from the safety and comfort of your basement.

So you scream hoax with a slathering of web content supporting your argument and encourage people to expose themselves. Why? What's your end game there? What good does encouraging people to break these orders offer? They do so and it'll force the governments hand and they really will limit all of our travel.

Maybe that's your endgame. Get as many of us sick as possible, then make us get ourselves locked down by government order.

Germans may wash their surfaces and hands more often and more thoroughly, kiss / touch / have sex with fewer people and less frequently, normally maintain greater interpersonal space, eat in smaller groups, obey their government "suggestions" faster, have had less contact with Chinese visitors etc etc. . .

germany is more obese and not as healthy as Italy but germany reacted right away and their health system wasn't affected. Israel clamped down right away, 3 weeks ago? they have 1930 cases, 3 dead, 88yo,87yo and 67yo with severe underlying health conditions 0.2% death rate. only 49 have recovered but that number should start climbing

For a a few years now Chinese and Chinese business have been coming into Italy , in Large Numbers. From Big Business down to small privately owned shops.
Most Italians have been concerned about this for a few years already.

Then you also have the Fact that Italians use their hands and touch each other much more than the Germans and People of other more Northern Countries .
Also , they live in Smaller Spaces and are much more Sociable , and spend more time together in Cafe's and in Small Restaurants for several hours most nights of the weeks.

Also, my opinion on this is quite unscientific, but...a major "secondary condition" for a death from Covid-19 is smoking tobacco.

China, Iran, and Italy are well-known for a very large percentage of their older citizens smoking, and refusing to quit.

Germany does not have anywhere near the number of smokers, especially the elderly.
