My son just got one and it's not too bad. Uses 3 AAA batteries. It had a ding in the end cap, but otherwise perfect.

I have several of those types and I can make one comment.

THEY SUCK!

At first, they appear ok. But, then, somehow... they seem to wear out. It seems related to the cap which seems to get too high of a resistance after clicking it more than 50 to whatever amount of times that seems too limited. At this point, they don't even seem to turn on at all. Since then, I've replaced it with a fenix flash light and I have not looked back. These CREE leds are far superior.

But hey, who can complain: you get what you pay for (or don't pay for. :lol

(I ended up paying .01 for my 4, even though the nominal cost was $10. eBay had a "upto $10 off shipping special", so I purposely looked for items to buy where the seller advertised a penny and jacked up the shipping to offset it.)
