Hello everyone!
On the main board of the controller for e-bikes and scooters, I noticed a single TO-92 transistor. Can someone explain what its function is on this board?
There are no visible damages on any components, and all the MOSFETs are correct for motor control. However, when I power it with the battery, the output on the display is also at the battery voltage level and doesn't turn on. I suspect that the some transistor might be faulty and not reducing the voltage as it should before it reaches the display...
I have marked the location of the transistor on the board with a marker.
