With one of Matt's big Astros or the 12Kw monster and a batch of Lipo's it would be eGrins all over the place

Love it, kinda like a zero that isn't trying to masqerade as a full fledged motorcycle. The big question for me at least would be how much $ and can we get some pedals on it to opperate as a moped.

it seems like these days it seems like there isn't a platform that those 12kw arn't being looked to as a drive solution.

Look up "sikk trail bike" on googley. Its a similar concept, but cheaper (cheaper too) and more available.

look up motopeds.com its exactly what your after gestalt only ~1200 bucks for the full frame/suspension and manual pedal drivetrain too.

This is the perfect target niche for electricity to compete and dominate against ICE, unfortunately I've never actually seen one of these FX Bikes at Malcolm Smith Motorsports ( the legendary dirtbiker who comment on Fx bike) nor have I seen it on the trails. The fact is that we want power on demand in as much dosage as possible in our playtoys. So if I'm going ICE I might as well pay the same price for way more, right? And who the hell rides trails that require liftings ones bike over fence

I hope and pray that the next Recumpence insano cycle aims for this market, only then will people buy bikes and lift them over fences!!

That motoped is sick! The site says $1400 for a frame "kit" minus engine, fork, wheels.. but dang imagine that geared for 30mph plated as a moped. Street legal freakin barrel of monkey fun. Could drive up a wall with the right engine. I wonder if the kits are on the shelf ready to go..
