Gas prices ^^^

Because it helps pay back everyone's savings and wages etc that this administration stole when they printed un-backed currency.

I get the point but our currency hasn't been backed by anything but "faith in the dollar" for a while now.

Yes. The banksters! and their crony capitalist friends. Goldman Sachs etc etc.
They sold these garbage loans to entire countries (Iceland et al.) as the wave of the future and then when they went south we the stupid US tax payers allowed our representatives to bail them out! Now the same crooks and criminals who sold the sheeple masses this BS are the ones that are telling everyone they know how to get us out of this mess. Of course, the answer is to pump some more money into the economy. Oh woes me this is going to hit some people really hard... :( :( :( :( :(

Natural gas hasn't even begun to be used, yet and we have tons of that stuff in the ground still.

Go watch the 2010 documentary 'GASLAND' before you start putting LNG on the pedestal of hope for the future. Fracking is nasty, sinister $hit. If you don't mind poisoning ~40% of your country's ground water and air around the USA's hundreds of thousands of drill rigs and separation refineries - and therefore local people and livestock (which you all eat) then by all means, Knock yourselves out!

Leave it to Haliburton to invent and legitimize the carcinogenic fracking cocktail of death that it injects into the groundwater all around a good chunk of the USA's prime agricultural land.

Where the hell do you think lithium comes from? Strip mines? Solar panels? Strip mines? All energy consumption causes some effect and damage to the environment some much less than others. Natural gas is only part of the answer to our energy future and it's pumping is similar to hydrogen and methane (a natural biogas).
If you or anyone else on this forum thinks electric bicycles are replacement for large trucks that transport food to your urban populaces you are wrong.
