GNG mid drive and Lyen ESC, help please.

Hi, I am a member from several years ago when the original GNG mid drive came out, I built a couple bikes with modified units and Lyen ESC's, I am converting one from 14s lipo to 14s li-ion and want to change the LVC on the controller, I still have the program on an old laptop and found a programming cable (with the button) but found the cable has a 5 pin connector and the ESC has a 6 pin connector.
Since its been many years I don't remember anything relating to this and Ed Lyens has not responded so I am hoping someone can help me figure out how to go about changing the LVC , I am not computer smart so please respond in rather simple terms if possible.

I'm getting to old for trials but still enjoy trail riding.
EV sure has come a long ways since the original GNG days, I stopped by your website a few weeks ago and see you have some serious wattage systems going.
