Hello everyone,

Here is my first build, with a GNG 450w 48v MidDrive motor on a Specialized 2000 Rockhopper A1 FSR.
I thought that this Frame geometry would be great for the GnG Mid Drive kit. Some mods were done to the Bike in order for a better performance.

wow, looks like a solid build. Love that frame.
Few questions.
1. what headlight/mount setup is that?
2. whats holding the front of your gng on? is it a large zip tie?
3. how much range out of the 44v5ah pack?

Hi there,

1. The headlight its a 12v to 80v Led Spot light, super cheap 7Dollars, and a huge asset.

2. I have custom built a metal bracket that bolts to the frame. The ZipTies are not doing nothing.

3. I live in Lisbon, the Bicycle was made to be used here. Lisbon is a very hilly city. I use the principle of pedaling on level roads and downhill and use the engine only when going uphill. This gives me a range of 18kms.
I was very surprised by its range, vs the weight of 1.5Kgs of the backpack.

Best regards

Nice bike!

If this was my bike, i would have placed batteries above the gng.
2 x 22.2v 5Ah if you're running 45v or 3 x 22.2 5Ah on 66v setup.
Looks like there should be space without the wheel hitting it.

And then you extend the range with the backpack.
