Yeah, I'm just saying you have got to love a direct drive rear hub motor in a twenty some year old top-of-the line MTB. This thing rocks, and the motor is labeled at only 500 watts!

It pulls up to 1440 watts, and will do 35mph on the throttle on the level. This bike is a few mph faster than the last bike I had these electrics on. The de rigueur negative shock failure is present on the negative chamber in the rear shock (replacements unobtanium) but seems to work great with the dampening (?) knob screwed in.

Those NRS shocks were never meant to be serviceable, but rebuild kits are available:



And many people report success rebuilding that RockShox.

Thanks for the links. I searched the web but was unable to locate any parts for the rear shock.
 
Just make sure you order the correct length and SunTour Raidon or DNM rear shocks are available for about $100. You just need to replace the fittings from your shock on the new one.
