Hello,

I'm about to buy my first DIY kit, but have been a long time Bionx owner.
I really would like to go with a DD kit as I am noise adverse, even though I'm very tempted my one of cellman mac kit.
Anybody know if Grin cyclery will be offering cheap(er) Nine continent kits this year?

All they have left is last year front kit on sale.

Thanks!

its unfortunate grin is no longer going with the9c- it has been my favorite motor

actually looks like they are selling a kit right here

SALE Front Disk 26 inch Nine Continent Kit (2807 hub, 20A Infineon Controller, throttle, Cycle A...

I'm not sure why Grin will no longer carry 9c. But Justin does ask a lot of manufacturers, so it may have been more the other way around than Justin decided no more.

There are good kits out there with similar designed motors. Closest to you would be E-bike kit. EM3ev also sells a motor nearly identical to a 9c. And I believe that now there are ebay vendors that ship from NA that carry a similar design motor with the disk ready covers and all that.

Get your controller and such from Grin, and just grab a motor elsewhere?

EM3ev is the one with the slower windings, if you are interested in getting up the more serious hills, and better performance on trails.

Can you be more indication as to whom/where is "ebike kit" exactly? I can't seem to find them :)

The reason I wanted a 9c kit, is for the life of me, I can't decide if I want to go geared or not, and would rather spend less on an average quality kit to find out. That could also be a BPM II for geared or whatever DD is the flavor of the month.

Here ya go but I'm not up on current offerings:

Those Yescom (sp?) eBay kits appear to be similar. Conhismotor is another close variant which may fall under the "9C" convention.
