The specs on the irfp4468 and 4568 mosfets are awesome, though they're not cheap at close to $5/ea in bulk, especially since we're talking about 24fet and 36fet controllers. They're not sine wave controllers though, so I wanted to gauge interest before ordering any. I don't know exact pricing, but it will be significantly better than Kelly for more capable controllers with better control over power settings.

Bootsjuice,

I wasn't talking about interest in the mosfets. I'm sure the factory I'm doing some work for gets the bulk price. I'm trying to gauge interest in high power controllers that use them, since they're far more capable than what we're accustomed to with 4110's and 4115's. There's no use getting some of these controllers for testing if everyone after high power is moving to FOC controllers instead.

I personally wouldn't be purchasing one as I dropped a bunch of dough on a max-e and a mini-e which both use irfp4468's, however I do know somebody else that would probably be keen for something with some reasonable power handling somewhere below the adaptto price point.

You're talking about modest and moderate power handling in comparison. This factory only uses those TO247 mosfets in 24fet and 36fet controllers, so you can imagine the power capacity. Your friend will probably be more interested in their models using irfb4110's, which I already have for testing, and are significantly lower in cost but much better build quality, thermal pathway, and programmable features than the common controllers we've seen around here. They've got FOC controllers in development too, but no firm release date or specs or prices on those yet.
