I was trying to set up the 3 speed switch (SVMC 72150) and when I tried it after connecting it and doing the settings the bike did something super weird.

It just kind of groaned forward a little bit and when I let off the throttle it didn't stop. So I hit the brake and that cut the power, but then when I let off the brake the bike starts groaning forward again, even though I'm not on the throttle.

So I just turn the key and kill it. I then disconnected the 3 speed switch from the controller and now the motor is making a groaning noise plus a chirping sound every revolution. (QS 205).

I reset all settings back to default and tried to do the hall test, which failed until I upped the given current to 30. It was then able to complete the hall test, but my offset angle is saying 145, whereas it's always been 152 before. Even stranger, 145 was the value that was already in that field after doing the default reset on the controller, so I don't think it's actually finding the real offset angle but rather the 145 is just the factory default value. Idk, just what it seems like.

But even after successfully doing the hall test and with the 3 speed switch still disconnected it's still groaning and making that chirping sound. Please tell me I didn't just majorly eff something up. My understanding was that it wasn't possible to damage anything by miswiring a 3 speed switch so I have absolutely no idea what's going on.
