Hey don't copy me !!
I just did 25 miles today roundtrip on the riverbed bike trail from my house to the beach. Half of which on electric power. The battery is still showing full charge after I would say about 10 miles of medium electric usage (16-17 mph average).
It is amazing just looking at people's faces when I pass them. I do behave courteous and ring my bell and say thanks when I pass them. Once I got to the beach and parked and locked to go to the bathroom, an old gentlemen immediately shouts "hey that's electric!". Thanks for the thief-attention dude.
You'll love the bike. You'll definitely be adjusting the brake lines, brake pad clearance, and derailleur after about a week or two. The components are new and when they break in, especially the brake cable, they'll stretch a little.
I've looked at all other bikes available already up to the $4k price range including the kick-ass looking Specialized Turbo, Stromer ST1, and Easy Motion Neo Jumper. But for the amount of money, those bikes didn't offer very much power (36v) or range. So for the amount of money I paid (less than $2k out the door) this was a no brainer for me.

I also recommend you pick up one this cheap wireless speedometer on eBay. I bought two from this seller for $8 bucks each in case one broke. Actually, one of them fell off because stupid me, I didn't zip tie the display and just used the double sided tape. Wrong! Must use zip tie and doublesided tape. But man, this thing works damn well and has all the features you'll need. Pick up a spare while your at it. The tire size is 26x2.35 so type in code 2135 in the display. What I like about it is that it's wireless, responsive, and quickly detachable and you throw it in your pocket. It's very tiny but large enough for you to see the speed and stuff.
