Hello,

for my e-bike i´m using an Cyclone/Headline Controller. The original throttle works with a hall sensor. When i connect an Oscilloskop to the Dataline, i only see a DC Voltag between 1,1V and 4,5V. Now i want to use my own programmed throttle with pwm and the Headline Controller. In the description from the Headline controller stands -> * Control method PWM. Has anyone tried to control the controller with pwm signal ?

regards Kay

The input to the controller is a nominal 1v to 4v dc signal. The output to the motor is PWM.

If you want to feed in a PWM from a microcontroller, I would suggest using a RC filter to convert it back to a dc signal. The controller probably has some degree of filtering built in, but it may not be happy with a PWM.

The input resistance of a typical controller is in the neighborhood of 20k to 100k ohms.
