Heavily modified 408 hub motor.

To make my TriceQ rearwheel 'swap outable' I needed to fit a 9 speed freehub to the 408 motor. Appologies in advance for the order of the pics.

Good work! Nice to see some other machinist types on here :D

How was the balance on your side covers? I found one of mine to be significantly out of balance, and once I balanced the individual covers, the wheel assembly needed less total weight.
 
I didn't notice any signifcant out of balanceness(?) mind you I wasn't looking for it. I don't think at the speeds I want, circa 20mph, it is much of an issue.
 
The cover on the freewheel side was far enough out that it would noticeably spin off center when spun by hand. Hopefully I just got a bad one, as the other cover was very close to zero.
