I have 2 meanwell HRP-300-24 model meanwell power supplies. Working when a click was heard and then, no power.

I have VOM but no electronical knowledge. It's possibly a fuse, but, I don't know how to check these. Had one out of the case, but, nothing resembles what I recognize as a fuse ?

I have tried self learning electronics online, but, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi guy, I assume you tried off/on (with loads disconnected)?
This is the same as mine and here is the info, you'll notice all fault protections reset on re-power, unless the fault remains. http://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product/search.aspx?prod=HRP-300

From there I don't know what to say for an ongoing internal fault. What where you doing when it shutoff? I can't imagine even overtemp should cause an debilitating issue because it should fault, cool, and reset on re-power.
Did you happen to buy from teslanv or icecube? Maybe they have the experience to help further specifically with this model.

Your link won't allow me to access the info. Bought from Teslanv and he has been helping. I'm trying to understand electronics and how to follow the electricity trail from the front wire connections.

Was charging as a 3 series 74V charger wired as shown in the for sale thread. Was charging, heard a click and fans all quit. 2 are still OK. unplugged re plugged, etc. LED will not light up and fans won't turn.

It's well beyond me to troubleshoot further- I'd be looking here and scouring the web myself.
The link is a model specific user manual, but you can get it yourself @meanwell.com for that hrp.

Yeah, if you already split them from series and the 3rd still doesn't work that's beyond me at this point, tho I did notice for hrp 300 24 there's like a 5yr warranty that might be applicable. I've tried replacing the obviously blown capacitor on my bmsb alloy charger (failed for no know reason) to no avail because of my limited pcb function/application understanding in general and specifically chargers, so warranty might be what I'd consider if possible.

Good luck and please let us know how you make out, I got 3 in series too :D
