Razor ecosmart metro stock 36v 500 watt motor controller and throttle swapped in a 36v 500w hailong lithium ion battery. Only thing I had to change was charger port and moved fuse from the sequential batteries to positive wire from new battery. I'm getting power from battery to controller also getting to throttle but no lights are working on throttle display no power to motor.

If your throttle has battery level indicators, then it should have 5V, ground, throttle signal, and battery level voltage (36V) at minimum. If it also had a button to turn the controller on and off, there would be another "key switch" conductor as well. Just trying to confirm what you have.
