Help! Trying to finish up on a Christmas present form my son

Hi everyone. I'm new. Recently (Christmas time) I purchased this kit to build an electric bike for my son.
The assembly went fine. I got everything connected only to realize that the battery charger that I had purchased for it
was incompatible. The Ebay Seller has been silent when I asked them to send me a link for an appropriate charger.
Does anyone have an idea and a possible link to a charger that is suitable for this particular kit?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Do you have a battery already? How many volts, and what chemistry? Do you have pictures of it and the connectors?

You can see some nice chargers on http://lunacycle.com/

Thanks for the response. I'm at work right now but once I get back home I'll take some pics and get them uploaded.

All I see is a link to a bike kit, not a battery or charger. Let us know what you have, so we can help.

I'm from Indianapolis. Thanks for all the replies. Apparently, the ES Pic Uploads only allow for some pretty
limited file sizes. I just created a photobucket page so you can view pics of the bike.
The kit I bought is a 36v 500w EBay Kit. I have an idea what kind of battery and compatible
charger I need for it but I really just want to know before I throw down that kind of money.
I build and design a lot of motorized bikes but this is really my first foray into electric bikes.
Any direction and wisdom is whole-heartedly appreciated.
Here's pics of the bike and battery/charging connector:

....and again, here is the eBay listing for the kit that I've installed on the bike.

I'm pretty excited about the build and feel confident that everything is hooked up accurately and ready to go. Just need to be directed to the right battery and charger. Thanks again everyone.

There is no right battery and charger. It all depends on what you want to do with the bike. There are lots of battery packs that will work with that kit. Follow the link in my sigline on how to get proper advice.

Well, at least now it's a bit clearer that you need both a charger and a battery. Your first post left me confused.

Your generic kit will run fine on most any of the 36v 10 ah lithium bike batteries out there. If you want longer range, get one in 15 ah. figure on about one mile per ah if the bike is run at full speed.

If lithium is too pricy, lead batteries still work, but poorly compared to lithium. With lead, still about 1 ah per mile, but the catch 22 with lead is that it wears out very quick if you use all of the charge. So with lead, best to limit ride length to about 5-6 miles per charge. And, it's heavy. Real heavy.

One of the things you should consider before ordering is where/how you want to place the battery on the bike. Seems to me the two of the best choices would be a triangle pack or a slim dolphin-style pack. You may need to move that controller elsewhere (e.g. in the triangle pack with the battery or perhaps behind the seat).

As far as connectors to the controller, not a huge deal. These can always be changed quite easily.
