Hello, I bought a rear 48-volt ebike conversion kit from eBay a few months ago. After a few rides, I noticed the wheel was out of true and the spokes nipples were rusting. After, trying to true the wheel some of the spokes nipples broke due to being rusted and cheaply made. The wheel that came with my ebike conversion kit just like any other sold on eBay is cheaply made. The wheel as 36 spokes (12gauge ) with each measuring 2.6mm
Could you please recommend 26-inch double wall rear bicycle wheels along with the correct spokes and spokes nipples length and width that could be used as an upgrade.

Luna Cycle has Alex DM24 rims, which are excellent and inexpensive at the same time. Use Sapim stainless steel 14ga, 13-14ga single butted, or 14-15ga double butted spokes from Dan's Competition. They come with brass nipples, which is what you want. You'll probably need some spoke head washers, because the spoke holes in most hub motors are huge. 2.5mm or #3 washers in brass or stainless steel.

With no name or dimensions for your hub, you'll have to take some measurements from it in order to calculate the right spoke length. Use cross-1 lacing with all the spoke elbows outside the hub flange.
Here's a good calculator to use.

If you've never built a wheel before, this one might not be a great choice to start with. In that case, it might be better to pay a pro.
