Hi power cycles HPC XC-1 EXTREME Electric Full Suspension

Here is high power cycles 104 rebuilt in one hours time: http://www.electricbike.com/one-hour-electric-bike-conversion/

This is a bike i bought from hpc a couple of years ago and have since sold to friend...they have since moved to a soft frame bag in the triangle but i believe they still offer this topeak rear rack set up.

That link will give you step by step directions on how you can build one in one hour.

First of all I'm in Canada and never bought a HPC bike but I think you guys need to consider that HPC is doing an adequate job to sell ebikes and remain in business despite being in Tax-ifornia. You must consider that they require ample space to rent in order to store and assemble these bikes. The labour must be billed out at $30/hour and the components must be marked up minimum 30%. Add on the licensing fees for operating a business in Cali and the liability risk and you get bikes that cost more than what DIYers can get from scrounging components at swap meets. Even if they do make a profit, the Cali government will take most of it.

There are few ebike sellers that sell adequate ready to ride ebikes, Prodeco, HPC, Stealth.
