How does your ebike weight?

Tonight i was VERY surprized about mine!!

i was expecting it weight around 80-85lbs.... :lol:

BUT i measured it and the front wheel to the ground give 43lbs... and the rear wheel 67 !!! for a total of 110lbs..

All that...... with... half my final battery pack!!!!!!!!..... :x the other half pack will add 19lbs !!! + me... 145lbs.. for a total of 275lbs !!


and will still accelerate to 0-30mph in 6sec .. i hope!

Uh...

This needs poll'age. :?

But, I dunno. I think the bike is around 45lbs and the pack around 25. Plus my 180lbs. So about 250lbs. I dunno how hard it accelerates. I've never full throttled it from a stop. I think it could do 0-25mph in like 5 seconds, though. :wink:

My bike and the 4 dewalt weigh a total of 62lb. Hahah.
I'm about 135. So 197lb.
I get to 25mph in about 5sec or so. Would be less if i start off pedaling along like a madman

EDIT: Yah, about 5 seconds. Pretty good considering only 30A, no pedals, undersized wiring, and bottom-of-the-line SLA.

37lbs for the bike 15+-lbs for the motor 45-50+- for batts right at 100lbs give or take. 280lb rider.

60lbs all up on the MTB with rear 4011 and 6 Milwaukee packs. I'm 200lbs on the nose plus about 10lbs of lunch, water, spare tools, duct tape etc. in my backpack so 270lbs total. I'm fully planning on losing about 10-15lbs from the exercise when I will upgrade to a 5305 and be right back at about 270lbs.

and two riders about 440 pounds
total 732 pounds total with two riders

30lb Schwinn, 17lb GM motor, 12lb 10ah lifepo4 36v batts and a pound of misc bike stuff so 60lb total add another 5lb for more batts. Then there is the rider and stuff lock, tool kit, pump ect. Total fully loaded is usually near 260lbs. Bike 2 Giant Trance3 V2s, 4.6ah 66V a123, that's 15 miles worth with light pedaling, heavy built wheels with12G spokes and oversized brakes ect 55LBs.

from a stand still just using throttle 0 to 100 foot test run in 8 seconds finishing speed 17km/h.The bike on the flats gets going to 34km/h.The bike ain't no jack rabbit it just keeps going and going and going...

my elation kited bike weighs 18.1kg or just under 39 pounds

its a very cheap and heavy kmart road race styled bike for testing purposes
im thinking of putting the kit on a older full carbon framed kestrel road race bike with quad spoke carbon wheels it should save another 5.4 kg taking the weight to 12.8kg or just over 28 pounds

My Folding steel KLH 20 inch wheel mountain bike with BMC geared hub and 48V15AH LIFEPO4 battery weighs in complete at 60 pounds. My Trek 950 Bike with same hub and 36V 10.5AH LIPO pack is about 48 pounds. The trek bike also has about a 45% front 55% rear nice weight balance, as the battery is in a frame pack. I don't know how you guys can stand bikes that weigh over 80 pounds,(I think some are actually pushing 100 pounds!) especially ones with a ton of weight in the back.

I was saying about 85 pounds. 20 for the 5303, 40 pounds of SLA's, 25 for the bike. So I saw this thread and had to break out the bathroom scale. It won't go high enough for me (185) and the bike so I put the front wheel then the back wheel on the scale...

36 front, 66 rear = 102 pounds.

Lemme get tha' total; Trek 3700 w/ rack, panniers, lights, & Swalabee tires; 36lbs: then 26lbs for C-408, 25A controller & 48v lith-ion. Yep, 'bout 63lbs. I don't think it'll quite hit its' 24 mph in 5 seconds, but close. Acceleration is spiffy. Flys up Hi-way 35 (16mph), Ft.Payne to Rainsville, AL maybe 5 miles at 8%. 30 mile range in hills w/ light pedalling.
