I just completed a small 4s6p pack im going to try out on my motorcycle that ended up with a dead battery yesterday, how is the amps split across the pack, is it x amps divided by x cells? or what? sorry if this is a simple question, just still learning about all of this....

The amperage drawn will be divided by the number of cells in parallel. So if the starter draws 30A, that will be 5A per cell in a 6p pack.

I believe this is assuming matched new cells with equal IR.
