I would like you advise on how to protect the triangle frame battery pack of my e-bike. I park the bike at the university and I am usually no more than a few hundred feet away from the bike.
The battery pack sits inside the frame, in a waterproof case. The case is attached to the frame via Velcro straps.
I was thinking of placing a motion-sensitive, silent alarm, that alerts the owner via SMS when the bike is disturbed, inside the case.
Then, maybe I could wrap the battery with parcel tape or, better yet, wrap a few feet of kryptonite's kryptoflex cable around the battery.
My reasoning is that while the thief is busy cutting through the parcel tape or cable, the alarm sends me the SMS and I can rush to my bike to protect it.
