hub motor not spin

hub motor and controller have problem not spin

- motor (new) mxus xf08
- controller dapu 36v

That growl is due to a bad phase / hall wiring combination.
Good luck sorting it out.

It's a 3 phase motor and has to fire in order. 123,123, etc. Yours is not firing in order. Try swapping phase wires around until it runs smooth in the right direction. Or follow this chart.

Peleap we have all gone thru this. Welcome to E.S. where you from ? Sorry the colors may not match. Use just a little throttle more throttle will not make the combo right but could hurt things. Go light it. A wrong combo to far advance may make the motor run really fast but not give a lot of power and make your controller heat up using more amps than needed.
It may have a self learning wire ? But No instructions.
