Hello I want some advice long story short I have an Amego Infinite 27.5" which breaks a spoke every other week. I want to rebuild the wheel with the DM24 Alex Rim found on Ebikes.ca

The approximate specs of my current rim are OD 24.55MM, ID 18.75 MM, Height 24.91 MM, 36 Spokes. Has anyone else upgraded their wheel to this one?

There's lots of people using the DM24. These are the posts mentioning it, if you would like to see what people have to say about it.

Regarding the spoke breakage: What gauge is being broken? If it is 12g, you should probably go down to 14/15butted, or if you have to the 13/14butted, like the Sapim spokes Grin Tech carries.

Too thick a spoke won't tension right, without overstressing the rim, which damages the rim at the nipple hole, which loosens the spoke, which then breaks at the elbow (usually).
