Interesting, im all excited now, that more and more companies are staring to develop light electric motorcycles..

Nice.

Shocks being on one side seems weird. I do hate how having an electric drivetrain seems to tell designers 'oh, be as quirky and contrarian as possible here.'.

Anyone else notice that? :p

Well, they're still in the CAD stage based on those CGI pics, so once they hit the reality checks they might change it.

Oh i gotta pm Luke the link to this, he hates single sided forks and swing arms this has both WooTz

Personally i like it, i would though prefer to see a conventional for up front, but its definately
a step in the right direction, imo.....be great if it made it from CAD drawing to retail for
similar price to comparable ICE bike, yeah yeah i know, i'm dreaming  :p

Thing is badass. Husky knows how to do it. The single sided debate will rage on, but it can be done well. Though I have nothing against traditional forks. I'd still prefer them.

lovely computer model....but I am getting more confused with every model these designers attempt to tease us with.

I must be a crumudgeon...first thigs I see are the fail points:

front forks are counter intuitive...much better design's exist than the redundant overweight idea shown.

fenders are astheticly pleasing but functionless for anything on the streets.
Way too much suspesion for motard riding.
Whats with the faux radiator shrouds?
no chain guide....
I'd perfer a foot operated rear brake
who puts a kick stand on the left side?

After all that...if i built an E-motard bike...that frame is exactly where I would start. i do like the wheels also..

Looks pretty good to me. I'm with you on the front forks, traditional forks would be more my style.

I've got a big 5KW electric scooter with a 72V 60Ah LiFePO4 that I've been playing with, it a big old heavy thing, too much like hard work, it was pretty quick though until a couple of the Thudersky type cells called it a day. I'd much rather ride a 40mph ebike, it's just so effortless in comparison, so yeah a lightweight e-motorcycle would be great.

In the full size picture looks like they used an Agni motor.

I think this is what 40 MPH ebike components would look like.

The pix above are not a model :p

I like radiator shroud things! And I like that the fins make me think of a traditional engine. Not sure about the fork. I guess maintenance would be simpler..

Their target market is going to be young people with the power limited tiered licences. So performance is.. well basically what it is, is a motard looking electric scooter.

wow, I awas going to call BS till i saw it being ridden onto the stage. that is cool.

VI, I see your poin't. the fins on the 50's cadilac's prolly didn't add to function either LOL. & it is a handy spot to put the Brand name.

a new product nich....MSO (motard shaped objects) but seriously, I would ride it.

i like the aesthetics. and it looks pretty damn well thought out.add lights have fun.

Nice, from a manufacturing viewpoint, it looks like an easy bike to assemble. I wonder what the price will be. I hope they put their talents towards an ebike as well.

FWIW, most of the images (including all of the ones in the first post) have all the hallmarks of CGI (primarily certain things about lighting and shadow), but these do not, and are probably real:

and the video.

One more, here:

is possibly real too--it has many hallmarks of CGI, but there is certain detail in it that is unlikely to be bothered with in a CGI simulation (like weld irregularity).

Funny how CGI is so good now that even when things are real, if they are too perfect we might think they are not.
