i have a e bike with rear direct drive and installing a front bafang g0900 geared hub, questions...

the rear motor i upgraded to this orange foc controller i got for like 50 bucks and that made the battery sag til i connected the two packs together, and the front stock bafang config i ran it unloaded and its really dissapointing compared to how the rear hub just rips effortlessly,. but i have a phaserunner, cycle analyst, super harness, and im hoping that by the time i get all that working on the front geared hub it wont be so lack luster, ive got seperate thumbs for each hand and each tire. i twisted the wire the first run i had without a tork arm in the front, and now im waiting for the replacement harness to come, luckily all those will be here around the same time. i guess my question is, does anyone have experience with these new bafang geared hub motors with the 11pin connectors and the severly limited by the factory 25amp current max of the controller, and will i still be disssapointed or might it actually accentuatte what i got goin on the rear motor. the rear is a 1500watt i got in a kit a few years ago, nothing extra special, but the controller i upgraded to sure did sag a single battery to shut off... or what other options might one recommend if i wanted the perfect mate for the rear hub motor....
 
i like the weight of the hub motor on the front and the rear tires 26 and the front rim is 27.5 and i got them shwalbe trucktires i love them they heavy duty and big af for standard rim tires
 
The front g 900 is probably a 28 mph max motor, l would only use it to help the direct drive hub stay at that speed on hills otherwise I am just using the direct drive hub by itself for most the time.
 
yeah, since i twisted the motor wire around the stud because i was too anxious to hit the gas before i tightened the tork arms properly. this motor is getting a brand new cable with 11pin connector that willl fit better. so even with a phaserunner and a cycle analyst this motor is mostlikely going to be woefully inadequate , i might have to try one of them 45mm stator motors from grin if this one doesnt compliment the direct driver, but this is fun for me regardless, and since i got 135mm front dropout on my bike, i got some other options. i know this direct drive with the old controller go around 42mph, and with the new one probably a little more but no lag off the rip either, and so ill have everything together in a day or two, maybe ill take some pictures with the I Pad thing i won being the last of random winners here is pretty exciting as well,. i was also asking if anyones had experience with this motor and the phaserunner cycle analiyst 3
 
perhaps the best thing to do is document my experience regardless of feedback, since its been on the project bench for a while already.
 
well details, this motor inside says g0900-750w arrow points counter clockwise. rear 27.5 rim 135mm dropout fits right in the front of my bike, wasnt sure the exact bafang model but this is clarity, hopefully i wont cook this one by runn it constant and wont cook the batteries runnin the other motor constantly...
 
Geared motors typically have a clutch. So whenever the rear is pushing you faster, a geared front motor would just freewheel harmlessly. I get some voltage spikes in my baserunner controller when I do that, but it's harmless as long as it's connected directly to a battery and not through something like a battery blender.

Not sure it will really contribute anything, though. All motors have a kV rating based on their windings. The kV rating tells you the maximum RPM for a given voltage. So the max RPM may be too low to ever contribute to your top speed. Possibly has some use helping on hills, like hillslayer said, if you are losing speed there, I guess.
