I Think My Motor Is Haunted

I need some help.

Geared Hub Motor
- squeaky sound
- a noticeable drag

I notice this after cleaning my bike during the weekend.
It's not the brakes.
I did a separate test by removing the brakes.

What could it be?

I notice we hear the sound when it's turning without the chain moving. It picks up speed, the chain starts moving, the sound goes away.

Could be bad bearings - I noticed at the end of the video that the hub was turning freely then stops quickly.
Rubbing pads
Bad gears - take the cover plate off and have a look
No grease inside the hub (geared motor)

It sounds like rubber, don't you think?
My guess that it's the rubber seal. I've read some hubs have those to protect from water and dirt. Maybe I was cleaning too meticulously that I rub off the lubrication down there?
