Its also well known and documented , that "Global Warming" was not a known topic of debate until the late '70s, (Palme/Bolin) and not a recognised issue until the formation of the IPCC in 1988.MJSfoto1956 said:

There is no point in debating facts with committed believers,
But if you are going to devote huge resources,funding , and the economic future of your society to a cause, then you had better be sure of a few facts..
What exactly is the problem ?
Global warming ?, Climate change ?, pollution ?, wealth distribution ? Etc etc
Make sure you have real reliable data to measure the scale of the "problem"
Not data with known errors, or has been "adjusted", corrected, compensated, etc etc (IE Global Ave Temperature )
If a cause is claimed to be identified (CO2) be sure there is sound evidence, that can be shown and repeated to proove its corect.
Be sure the proposed solution is going to be effective..IE eliminate the cause, not just something you think is the cause. !
Check that the proposed solution does not result in a worse situation than taking no action.
Try watching this (start at 9 mins) and see if you are still as sure of your facts..

Where /how do you think that $100bn will be sourced ?? ...answer .. From the taxpayers of those countries !
The UN do not give a toss about Climate change (many working members may do). All they want is Power , Authority, and funds to progress that agenda. They know the Carbon Story is just a convenient tool to suit their cause.

Boy, I'd really like to get a CAT scan of some of you folks' brains. It really has to be wired differently to be so willfully and belligerently ignorant. There are mountains of evidence all around you, not to mention the basic laws of physics, yet you persist in your misguided beliefs.
Never question the experts , or the data, or the govt. Always trust them . 
I can post hundreds of articles/claims by the experts, that told us the ice age and global cooling was DEFINITELY coming.
If global warming is such a threat, let the fed reserve print up the money to save humanity and then pass laws making it illegal for our corrupt politicians to travel all over the world , in the jets/planes.
