There is no point in debating facts with committed believers,
But if you are going to devote huge resources,funding , and the economic future of your society to a cause, then you had better be sure of a few facts..

What exactly is the problem ?
Global warming ?, Climate change ?, pollution ?, wealth distribution ? Etc etc

Make sure you have real reliable data to measure the scale of the "problem"
Not data with known errors, or has been "adjusted", corrected, compensated, etc etc (IE Global Ave Temperature )

If a cause is claimed to be identified (CO2) be sure there is sound evidence, that can be shown and repeated to proove its corect.

Be sure the proposed solution is going to be effective..IE eliminate the cause, not just something you think is the cause. !

Check that the proposed solution does not result in a worse situation than taking no action.
