I'm looking for Dealers that take Credit Cards - NOT PAYPAL

Your an idiot. I'll insult your foolish arse any way i so choose buddy, so take it and like it.

Best of luck to Paypall, credit cards, or any one who is foolish and unfortunate enough to use your "business". You are
a rude fool and it will most certainly come back to bite you in the ass.[/quote]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's You're as in YOU ARE AN IDIOT.

Clearly you have brought nothing to the discussion. Apparently this forum is not moderated.

My post was to find dealer that take credit cards plain and simple. Why people like you choose to chime in and bring nothing to the discussion is why Forums are generally a waste of time.

Your insults clearly show your upbringing and general lack of tact, wit, and intelligence.
I do 7 figures a year through my businesses. This is why I know what works and what doesn't work and why I spend my money with REAL BUSINESSES that understand what real customer service is and how to offer it. a My customer base over the years appreciates how I treat and respect.

Grow up. Go belittle someone else on some other thread.

I get the whole Justin thing. And it doesn't matter how great a guy he is... I'M SURE HE IS. I've seen some of his youtube videos. But you still have to pay excessive fees to import batteries. And I have emailed them in the past and while I didn't talk to Justin Directly the person I did talk to couldn't grasp the simple concept that I needed to purchase a specific length of cable. So instead of spending a grand with them for a product that I could not mount on my bike I went another direction with that one.

So I'm not saying bad things about Justin, but not everyone that works for him gets it.

But no worries. I get this is not a Forum for business it's a tinkerers forum for people that like to solder things and test and try things. I buy solutions... turnkey complete. And they couldn't make a few very simple modifications to meet my needs on this project. It's never been a money issue, I have money. More money than is needed for this little project.

But I also have realized there is no point in spending any more time here. As this is not the place to get the information that I need.

I asked one very simple question.

Who sells ebike kits that takes credit cards.

I got 3 legit responses and a whole lot of usless and uncalled for badgering.

No need to post any more comments in this Thread. It should probably just be deleted. I will not be back.

Man you seem just like a dick that even your own hand cant satisfy.. we gave you an answer. You just dont like what you read. You may want to get on linked in and network with "professionals" but make sure you check your attitude at the door. Weve been nothing but nice to you and you just keep blowing your load on us and saying sorry and excuse me doesnt help clean it off.

Don't let the door whack you on the ass on the way out.

I really don't know why people try to start shit on the forum. Pointless..

Paypal rocks!

"With a Credit Card I can float the purchase (Make a larger purchase) for up to 60 days with no interest. Paypal takes the money right now."

why? if you can't pay for stuff, don't buy it.

It used to but its realy screwing the small buisness person and people just selling a few items on ebay. Because all the buyer has to do is tell a lie and they get to keep the money and the product. VERY STUPID! Its kind of a new thing they linked with ebay.

Now that he's moved on here's my two cents:

First, for someone that claims he is so high and mighty, why did he ask such a vague question. If you wish to buy something with a credit card just go to a vendor's site and see what options he has. If the only option available is PayPal just move on. For me PayPal has always worked good.

Next, I don't know why so many of my fellow ES'ers even bothered to try and "help" him with his question once it was obvious he was just an anti-PayPal troll. Made interesting reading though. :D

For some people, nothing is ever thier fault too.

I just read the posts from Zippy the Chump. If his business does seven figures as he claims, he must have some dynamite employees because with his attitude he wouldn't still be in business.
Someone with a business that size wouldn't be here asking for someone who takes credit cards. He have the business savy to find them and he wouldn't have a crappy phone plan that won't let him call outside the U.S.A.
It was interesting reading though wasn't it.

I'll get the shovel and wheel barrow and clean up after him.

You are right he would be dealing wholesale... behind the scene instead of looking for retail outlets... also Ive called ebikes.ca with a Metro PCS phone ... go figure... You could even use google phone....

A friend of a friend turns over seven figures, but the profit margin is 1%, so I'd say boasting about turnover proves little.

One thing that didn't sound right to me was when he said he called ebikes.ca and they didn't know what length a cable was. I live 25 miles away so I don't call, I go up but if you want to know something about a product if they don't know they will go and check because they have done it for me and people that call there while I was standing there waiting at both the old and new shops.

I wonder as well if he has been banned from Pay Pal for some reason and he can't use them. Maybe ebikes.ca knows about him as well and he can't go there either.

"With credit cards, both seller and buyer have some protection"

Not exactly.

So I have a long credit card story involving my spouse and ordering with a CC on a cloned account for a famous company that makes butt-ugly boots that rhyme with "Fuggs". The actual company was in China. Spouse paid $100 via Visa for boots that, supposedly retailed for $200 (don't ask...) As soon as she hit the "buy" button, she started to worry about the legitimacy of the website. when the boots showed up, drop shipped from China in a box that was crushed almost to pieces, it was obvious they were clones make of synthetics. The shipping label indicated the shipper paid $50 to ship them. So we paid $100 for a pair of boots whose retail value before shipping was $40 and whose cost to make was probably about $5.00. Visa was very empathetic but basically they would not try to recover unless we could show proof that we attempted to return the boots. The only proof they would accept is if it was sent via a method that would require the receiver to either sign for it or reject delivery from the delivery company. The company was in China and the only way to send something back to China with delivery conformation was via Express mail through a hand-off to a Chinese company. It would have cost around $60 to attempt to return the boots. So we would be out $40 which, after a month or so, Visa would probably have refunded. So if you are doing business overseas, you don't have as much "protection" as the think. The Chinese are probably trying to deal with the problem, but these companies spring up so fast just switch websites every couple of days. Visa already knew the name of the company due to many complaints.

I don't do business with companies I don't know via a CC anymore, but for a different reason. I've had my card cancelled 4 times in two years now from it being in a batch of numbers stolen due to lax protection from some company that I gave the number to. I will only do business with these via PayPal. I am sure CCs are a better deal for the company but I am tired of having my cards cancelled. At least until Paypal's database gets raided anyway...

I choose American Express C C because they double the manufacturers warranty at no extra charge. Some other credit cards do the same or offer low cost extended coverage. I have purchased from e-bikekit.com and Justin e-bike.ca ? with Amex but never had to make a warranty claim. I purchased a bike on ebay using Paypal that was received not as described plus shipped badly and destroyed.Paypal did not pay my claim.

I got done with the same scam through Paypal, except I can one up you. Paypal's parent company, eBay, emailed me to indicate that the sale was a scam as you described, (sent a USB memory stick with no actual memory inside it), and if I had already paid for it, to seek a refund from my card provider. So, I dutifully forwarded to Paypal, who then asked me to have it valued by a valuer, at the expense of $300 to me, (Memory stick was worth about $40). After much threatening, they said to send it back by registered post, which cost $65.

I asked to close my account, to which they said they could not, so I found the button to close it off myself.

That was the 6th scam in 18 months. Since then, my online buying has doubled, and hey, what do you know, since dealing exclusively with companies that only take credit card, and not paypal, I haven't been scammed once.

OH HI
I LIKDZ WERE DIS TREAD IS HEDDED

QUESTION ????
WHICH DEALERS OF EBIKE KITS AND COMPONENTS and related stuffs TAKE CREDIT CARDS.
NOT PAYPAL only

(whew finally found the caps lock key)
highertekbikes chimed in... but I knew that as I do business with them...and no. I don't necessarily want to call international to find out who or who doesn't take credit cards. If it isn't listed on their webpage and they don't have a toll-free number I will only assume they don't take credit cards.
Even hobbyking is becoming more infected with paypalitus

The OP asked a simple question... perhaps op shouldn't have given any other details

I am allergic to pay pal (an ebay company) as I am also allergic to ebay (a paypal company)

so this is a question that needs some answerz

a current list of dealers that take credit cards.

I'll start with:
https://hightekbikes.com/ (kits and battery packs- limited selection... re-sells ampedbike kits and parts and Aotema front hub kits and manufactured e-bikes)

http://www.mcmaster.com/# (hardware and most everything else to make something from nothing)

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/index.rc (batteries and chargers and r/c motors and the stuff that feeds them)
note-I attempted three times last night to order stuff from HK with "credit card only" option only to be derailed to a paypal page.

...and that's about the extent of my knowledge
please add yours to the list
