They sell for $119 shipped. Is it worth it for someone who wants simplicity and safety?

Can some one at least comment on the quality of imax chargers in general?

Anyone have any familiarity? I see the Integy brand a lot on RC websites.

One blew up on auraslip after a very short period of time.
Reviews on hobbyking are a bit mixed.

The ones on HK don't seem to have much in the way of functionality compared to higher end chargers, although i can't speak for this unit really.

For this kind of money i would buy a iCharger 1010b+ on hobbyking ( or 206b, etc.. whatever matches your setup best. ).. although, it does not come with a power supply like the iMax does so that's a downside.

I have been using the Imax B6 charger for 4 yrs now..
I have never had any problems with it..
I am happy with mine..

I bought two b6's on the theory that at least one would go poof, both are fine but I don't use them now because they are so slow. This is the 50 watt version.

That looks good to me, for a charger that is easier to carry around. I still tend not to recomend that, but at least it's one piece.
