Hi hoping someone on the forum can help me with a problem regarding spokes
My E bike has 2 broken spokes i have tried to get replacements from the bikes supplier but he is of no help

The e bike has a 26 inch rear wheel fitted with a 8Fun hub the spokes on the wheel is 12G Stainless Steel spokes the length of the broken spoke is 8.5inches or 216 mm could anyone give me a website link that could supply me with 6 new 12G /216nn spokes. I can get the length in 13 Gauge not 12G but i don't know if the 8Fun hub will take 13G spokes :(

First replace the broken spokes with common 14ga and washers that you can find locally, then order replacement spokes at ebike.ca or holmes hobby. Keep your wheel true and tight, that is regular maintenance to avoid broken spokes.

OK David

The costs of our spokes are:

14g @ £0.55 per spoke
13g @ £0.65 per spoke
12g @ £0.75 per spoke

We use Halo stainless steel plain gauge spokes for the 14g as they have a good length shoulder at the head end of the spoke to allow the spoke to sit better through hub motor flanges as they tend to be a bit thicker than standard bike hubs.

The 13 and 12g spokes are plain gauge and stainless steel as well. Unfortunately the name of the manufacturer escapes me right this second but we have been pleased with the results.

For more info, and to see what else we do, please feel free to get in contact or visit our websites, or indeed book in to come down to the workshop!
