Is Kavanugh guilty of the accusations ?

OSHA statistics indicate that more American deaths will occur due to the construction of "the Wall" than would occur from terrorism. Construction related accidents.

Of course, could use Mexican labor ...
Would cut construction costs greatly and save hundreds(?) of American lives!

Kavs anger and tears may have been legitimate if he was innocent of the accusations. How would you feel if you were accused of these things , but were innocent , full well knowing that just being accused of these things, would result in millions of people claiming you were guilty ?
I would not bring up my kids praying for me and then cry. Those kind of high-drama crocodile tears are just . . . pathetic.
Im not a fan of Kav, but can easily see that if he was innocent of Fords claims, he would have a lot of emotion and anger....I think any sane human would feel the same way.
I would too. But if I wasn't sure, because I had been blacking out a lot that summer . . . I would hesitate to call anyone who accused me a liar.
Israel ? I never said there wasn't any violence there, you gotta stop your strawman bullshit. It looks childish and immature .
Ah, so you were not claiming that tight borders makes Israel safer. Good to know. Let's hope we don't make the same mistake here.
Did Kav lie about how much he drinks and some of the repercussions he had from it ? Probably. That doesnt make him a gang rape criminal .
Of course not. It just greatly increases the probability that he tried to rape (not rape, tried to rape) a woman one summer when he blacked out.
Trying to use a teenagers yearbook and the immature writings, and exaggerations from 36 years ago in that yearbook , seems a bit weak to me to permanently indict a person for being bad or evil and this is what the dems tried to accomplish .
Nope. They used that to demonstrate that his claims about not drinking to excess were lies. It was the lies that they were objecting to. Had Kavanaugh said "yeah, I drank a lot that summer - I was in high school for heaven's sake!" then those claims would have had no power.

Would you want a proven perjurer as a Supreme Court justice?

So you would rather let in more terrorists ? You think the we need to give the terrorists a edge and have open/weak borders ? Do you think we should eliminate all law enforcement jobs ?
Fun fact - if you let in more illegal immigrants the crime rate would go down. Illegal immigrants have a lower propensity towards crime than US citizens. (And legal immigrants have an even lower rate than both - so letting more in would let you assuage your fears of terrorism.)

Of course that doesn't play well in a FOX News soundbite.

When someone points out this strong economy , your typical dem reply is " ITS BECAUSE OF OBAMAS POLICIES" . ...
Well, unemployment and the stock market are the 2 biggest indicators of a strong economy ... right?

Obama, despite belligerent Republican opposition, rallied the nation from the worst recession in decades, engendering consistent and steady economic recovery and growth.

True, progress in both areas has continued.
Due to massive military industrial complex spending-employment, which is a proven short term boost to the economy but tends to lead into greater debt >> inflation >> recession >> ...
But, all the rich cronies get richer!

Dow Jone Industrials

Except for 1 surge >> correction, it appears the Stock Market is precisely continuing Obama's resurgence.

Looks like T-Rump is riding in on Obama's coat tails and trying to steal Obama's thunder he earned in dragging us up from the Bush-Republican recession-depression!

There are four ways to prevent Kavanaugh from damaging the country now:
1) impeach,
2) convince him to resign,
3) pack the Court, or
4) sharply abbreviate the lifetime in "lifetime appointment".

I believe any one of these approaches would be acceptable, given the negative consequences of having him as a Justice and the criminality of his confirmation process.

Moving 4-word is my opinion.

illegal immigrants

illegal immigrants are criminals because they are illegal
the government lets companies that hire illegals slide because they need cheap farm labor

now take a traveler coming into our great countries CAN/USA
immigration and customs asks them all kinds of questions
and one being are you coming here to work or pleasure
if the traveler is "officially" here for pleasure, yet the fuzz find paperwork, text messages, pictures of even the slightest possibly that you are working, you dont get into our great nation. Working for food = denied entry, doing drywall out of the kindness of your heart = denied

why doesnt our great nations crack down on such criminality on illegal immigrants
why doesnt our great governments do surprise visits to large scale farms and round up illegals and deport them
its so hypocritical of our great countries
our politicians are lobbied to look the other way and tell the fuzz to look the other way and pick on bums

And the country needs them as a whole to keep programs like Social Security solvent, and to pay for all the things we want (big military, border wall etc)

Yep. We should fix that, and make it easier for people who want to work to enter.

They are. The people you listed above _are_ illegal immigrants.
why doesnt our great governments do surprise visits to large scale farms and round up illegals and deport them
Because them they harm Americans by putting farmers out of business and raising the price of food above what the poor can afford.

Also realize that millions of people visit this country every year, interrogating and investigating all of them to the extent you're suggesting would cost the economy far more than we'd ever gain from doing so. Tourists would stop coming if getting in here was a royal pain in the ass, Canada would lose it's reputation as a friendly place to visit.

Kinda like a border wall. Really expensive, and probably not even that effective in the end.

How many illegals are too many?
If there are so many illegal immigrants that it's causing problems for schools, tax preparers etc then there are too many.

Simple solution - make them legal. Crime rates will go way down, more money will end up in the government's coffers, farmers will have more ability to grow food and feed America and Social Security will be saved.

Depends what problems these "illegals" create that you're trying to mitigate.

If it's crime, then all the data I've seen indicates they commit crimes at a far lower rate than average.

If it's economic, then however many it is that costs us more having them here than trying to keep them out. But most data shows their provision of cheap labour is a substantial net benefit to the overall economy, especially when consideration is given to the fact that they tend to utilize very little in the way of public services.

If it's because some people don't like immigrants, because it triggers their inner racist, well, I don't know. Zero I guess.

Is Kavanaugh guilty of the accusations ?
Probably ...
but, irregardless, based solely on his behavior, lies and the debauchery and immorality he bragged about in his yearbook, he should be disgraced and thrown off his old justice seat and most certainly should never have been granted the Supreme Court seat.

Kavargghh lied and now he is supreme court judge.
What were the other choices, if any?

Out of 330 million Americans, I think we could have done better. We probably could have done better than him with a lottery, to be honest. I know street bums who would make better judges. At least they understand ideas like "fairness", which he's never been exposed to.

^ Makes one wonder what he has done, how he likes power and knowing he can get away with shit. That is why the fuzzies get into their line of work. One in Toronto was on the news today, off duty pulling those moves, even arrested the cross walk guard when he called his pals. I can see the fuzz not wanting to stop for a measly crossing guard. Who knows what else that fuzz has done. Planted evidence, stolen money. Hear them stories all the time. Divorce case was in the news a year or two ago, pulling CPIC's (computer that fuzz use to run names) obtaining license plate info. The usual "go straight home fellow buddy" dui and drunk fuzz crashes. Oh recently, handcuffed going into paddy wagon, tough fuzz decided to fight unfair, perp didnt do nothing, caught on camera. Are they still on the force after a year or 2 of paid leave while they investigate.

This is what really gets me. I doubt the man would even be qualified to practice private law at this point, the Bar holds it's members to higher standards than this "Supreme" court. And that's a bloody travesty.
