So I have a few batteries that were for a scooter, but I am confused as to charging them.
The batteries are listed as 12v/22ah Maintenance-free sealed lead-acid battery...
When I looked up the company and the batteries, they are listed as AGM. I don't know if there is a difference in terms of charging.

I have a Viking charger from harbor freight its a 4 amp charger and it has normal and AGM modes... I am just not sure the best way to go, and wasn't sure where else to ask.

Thanks

Maintenance free just means sealed, you cant do anything to them hence maintenance free.

It is really worth looking into Lithium Ion batteries if you want to ride long into the future. It will cost more upfront, but over the lifetime it will save you money.

Thank you for the reply. I am not using them for a scooter, I am using them to power an inverter for a cpap machine. I got 2 of them for 30 bucks so I thought I would use them. I am learning so I can construct a battery from 18650 cells...

AGM is a subset of VRLA which is a subset of SLA

Just choose a profile voltage that matches the mfg reco
