Here's a thought...
I think what happens with animals is that their eyes are so dilated that when headlights hit their eyes they instantly think, "Hey! It's daytime, yay!"

Maybe we give too much credit to wild animals with great nightvision but no sense of time.
They don't think, "wow, man, it's been a loong day, I'm tired... " They eat when they can - sleep when they can - sniff koochie when they can.
I think, to wild animals, Light = Day no matter what time it actually is, the same way indoor marijuana farmers have bright lamps on 24/7 fooling the plants to speed up their growth. Plants don't really care what time it is, why should wild animals? They don't have pressing appointments. Westerners are so stuck on phrases like "Early birds catches the worms." :lol:
Domesticated animals would probably have a better sense of time because they are educated by humans.
Anyway, whatever... I gotta go to Toshi's and pick up some power converters...
