Hello everyone!!! This my first post here on endless. I told my self I would post my build here on the forms and answer any and all questions on how to build this trike to the best of my ability. O and if anyone has any ideas on how to improve it let me know 🤗.

Like what size do you think? I’ll post pics as soon as I can. Phone won’t let me

Yeah 20 inch wheel. The motor came already installed in rim 20in 35mm wide so about 1.4 wide?

your torque arm, this member might have 1 left?

hookworm, I like them but I had to run high pressure so you don't get pinch flat which made for a hard ride, I cant get them in 2.20. I use 2.20 holy roller in the front to soften the ride

we have the same panniers  I got a big plastic rectangular container with a lid from the dollar store for the top bag, slides in tight and keeps it shape and things dry. I can fit 4 shopping bags of food in the panniers, if you put your charger in there, wrap it in a shirt or towel so nothing rattles loose and shorts it out from the road vibration, I normally give the charger a good shake before plugging it in to make sure nothings rattling around. back tire im still looking for, im running my winter maxxis maxxdaddy tire on the rear, I picked up 3 Atlas night moves 20x2.3 with 3m reflective just waiting for the 16x2.50 moped tubes from amazon to mount
https://www.stolenbmx.com/products/20-3m-reflective-nightmoves-tires

they'll be ok for the front but I don't think theyre good enough for the rear, the rubber isn't as thick as the hookworm so im thinking moped tire for rear

are you running a twist throttle instead of thumb throttle?

I think I need to get new rims for the front before I put moped tires on them. They are the stock kmx 16”, got a good place to get rims? Funny story about the throttle. I bought one from amazon and a female to female extension cable plugged it all up and nothing.

Also why a 2.50 tube with a 2.3 tire? Sorry for newb questions I’ve only just got into this stuff 2 months ago.

with the virus there are no bicycle tubes in 20 inch above 2.10 where I live. my bicycle tires came from chain reaction cycles in the uk and they had no tubes. Amazon, samething, id have to wait til august for delivery but I could get 16x2.50 moped tubes for the bicycle tires by this Monday so I bought those. I think they will fit and be less prone to get flat.

I don't think I would put moped tires on the front, too heavy. I was running schwalb marathon plus 20x1.95, great tires, never get a flat, you can 2 wheel around corners but you feel every little crack and pebble in the road. holy roller 2.20 im running at about 20 psi and you don't feel too much, ill do train tracks at 30km/h/20mph and theres no bang to the front end but you cant 2 wheel around corners. I went to 2.30 to see if I can inflate the tire to a higher pressure and still have the soft ride of the 2.20.

I thought about getting suspension for the front end like adam333 but then the trike would be too wide for the bike lanes, you would have to have one tire in traffic or the curb gutter. when your stuck in a bike lane with traffic you cant really dodge around road garbage with the back tire so I have to get a moped tire.
the good thing about your V3 is youll have enough power to get away from the vehicle that's driving with 1 tire in the bike lane coming up from behind you, get a mirror and get a flag

is your battery behind youre head? it will flip you around corners if it is, I didnt see your battery but tool cases like Dewalt for drills will hold 2- 18s 4p packs and fit right in front of your seat, you can get empty cases at the pawnshops for $5

Wow thanks for all the info man your great!! Yeah that’s the battery because I can’t find anywhere else to put it. Pretty big as you can see it’s a 72v 25ah lithium ion pack of 18650’s
241*166*165mm size For battery

O and yeah I already talked to adam333 and I’m definitely getting those for the front once I have enough money it.

I bought this shinko sr714 moped tire to mount on the rear 20 inch rim. if you scroll down to comments, the first comment is/was? from a member here but mentions different sizes available.

not a clue about 16 bike tires, if you do get the front suspension will you have to step the tires up to 20 inch bike rims? theres a lot of tough bmx tires. im trying to keep my front tires light so I wont go moped on the front, I just want a good rear tire, it takes a beating

burley coho trailers have 16x3.0 tires

Finally found out the top speed of the trike its 65mph not recommended at all. It’s absolutely terrifying, around 62 you can feel the front wheels rolling on the road anymore. I’ll post my sabvoton 72150a data sheet soon.
