I have E2 kranked kit I bought used. There is a surging which spins the motor up to higher rpms while the motor is under load. For example, I am riding up a mild hill with throttle wide open. If the hill gets steeper, or if I drag the brakes a bit and the motor will spin up faster for a short time. This setup is all throttle, no torque sensor in the crank/pedals
It looks like I have a Kelly kbs-x controller or comparable (based on dimensions, brand labeling and wire locations)
I have tried the following things with no improvement:
Using Kelly software to diagnose - I purchased their rs232 cable. I have tried every downloadable software from their website and they all state that it is the wrong software for the controller.
Adjusted the gap in the ORO throttle to ensure that I was receiving 100% power
Based on some searching on this forum I think it may be controller related, but want to get some opinions as I don't know how else to diagnose
