Slight chance of rain coming this weekend. We'll see. Not much expected but right now anything will help. The hills are turning brown.

I don't know about u guys up in the northern hemisphere but overall in Australia folks are starting to see a fair amount of rain after many years. I think it's worthy of the words significant change in weather. http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/current/month/vic/archive/202002.melbourne.shtml

I am pretty sure the BOM has been saying they hoped for this change in the Indian Ocean Dipole, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FXWsN6331s from positive to negative, and maybe combined with the ENSO and maybe La Nina, as they can all combine forces to decrease/increase rain depending on where you are on earth.

Crazy! Was hoping to test ride a Wattwagon Crosstour ice fishing but the flooding Mississippi and early melt lakes make itt dangerous.

They took out all the chances for rain this week here. Supposed to be 72F and sunny today. Slight chance for the weekend.
I went out riding last Sunday and it was real nice. The tiny bit of rain we had was just enough to keep the dust down but not enough to make any mud.

Farther out in the desert SW, We are setting records for spring rain. My house got 2 inches since march first. Wettest spring since 1958, or 41. Most of the winter, it was hitting more to the north of the border line where I am.

Here, a spring storm usually rips through in about 30 min, leaving a trace to be measured, or less. lots of virga, or just a quick splash and then back to just wind.

The result is going to be spectacular, in weeds if nothing else. But the poppy areas have huge stands of poppies just beginning to bloom. Gonna be a real super bloom.
