large brushless motor

Hi everyone, i would like to share pictures of this motor that i have. it weighs about 11 lbs and is 6" diameter and 1" shaft, and has a board with hall sensors and 12 FET's bolted to it. I have wired it up to my infineon 9FET controller, but am unable to get it to run smoothly. i can spin it up if i increase the throttle in very small increments. i ran it at 40V and at full throttle no load it was showing about 700W on my CA display. any ideas what the issue may be with the no start?

It might be the order or your hall effects and phase wiring. When I added hall effects to my outrunner, I found a combination that acted similar.

Is that a motor from a modern washing machine or dryer?

I ask because I've seen something that looked very similar from a modern washing machine.
