Here's a couple of pics of the Battery Box with the Batteries all hooked up. :)
Technically 16s16p. Made up from 16 packs of 4s4p 12.8v nominal 9ah linked as 4s4p.
Each battery pack is 4s4p A123 LiFePO4, then 4 pack in series and 4 in parallel :)

It's a spaghetti mess of wires, but easy to change out a pack or re-purpose the packs for use with ebikes

Nice job on the build there Tommy L. You should put a safety switch on the seat just in case you fall off and the mower keeps going and chops up your children or pets.

But I would have smoked the motor in about 5 minutes in my yard. It rains a bit each day and it is still growing like crazy. Usually I get a break in July and August. But just last Saturday I had to creep along to keep my 17hp Kawasaki from stalling.

Thank you Major! :)
Not overlooked! I wanted to keep all the safety features, but they all seem to go to ground to kill the ICE.
I will put in my own momentary switch under the seat, very ease to put another switch in-line with the main toggle

Nice build, Tommy!

UPDATE!!!!

This is working extremely well. I'm using Delta Qui Q 1kw charger. If I'm out for 20 minutes, the charger charges the pack back up in approx. 40min :)
I love electric! :)

I see this motor on ebay for $325 .[/http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motenergy...he original Dual pulley from the gas engine.

Also, watch the Video a at the 10:00 mark.
It shows the pulley. :)

The ebay link shows the same motonergy motor with a sprocket, but I imagine it is keyed to the shaft. I just wanted to know if the sprocket was removable without damaging the shaft? The price is right though.

Mine was a keyed shaft with no sprocket.
