This one looks like a nice integration project. Are there available ready to use (with enclosure) units?jateureka said:There are a few more different types out now:
Some monitor speed and have a trip meter and odometer; battery volts and temperature.
Some monitor battery current instead of temperature. The circuit uses the same input connections as were used for temperature, so they can't do both.
Some are multi colour http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111454134482?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Can you supply the link of the one with the ammeter? Can't find it myself...Nobuo said:This is the one I like the most.I have two versions, one with ammeter box tool, and this one on the link without the ammeter and with termistor built-in half the cost. Interesting is that this work with 48V, 60V, 72V lithium-ion batteries, and ready to be connected to hall wire or phase wire.

Looks really nice! The only thing that is bugging me is that i can't find in the scree pictures where it displays the amps and/or watts. Mind to take a picture of yours so i can see?Nobuo said:
Its a shame it can't display both voltage and amps at the same time =(Nobuo said:under the "V" on the voltage indicator there is a "T" for temp. over the "V" there is a "A" for "amps".
If you don't connect the ammeter. it will show Voltage.
If you don't connect the ammeter and you add temp wiring it show temperature.
This lcd screen woul sell much more if it was open source, so we could mod the stuff. Ex: shows voltage for 2 seconds than shows amps for 5 seconds and keep switching, could also display wattage while crusing on mileage display and switch to mileage when stopped. Thats not hard to code since you have the source, which is not the case =(Nobuo said:of course :? . You can always check relation about voltage and the battery indicator bars. Make a swich to disconnect the amp wire on the screen, or just use external voltmeter.
